Talking to media at Lahore Headquarters, Railway Minister said that Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Dr Sanya Nishtar, has been discussed with the Prime Minister to provide money to Quli and the matter has also been raised in the Cabinet.
Sheikh Rasheed said that despite the train operation being suspended, the Railways did not delay the salary and pensions of any employee.
He said that for the Prime Minister's Karuna Relief Fund, the Railways has collected Rs. 5 crore 85 thousand rupees fund, which will be submitted on Monday 20th April. The Relief Fund has added a day's salary to its workers and officers' three-day salary.
