Lahore: (May 2, 2020) Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar says that there is no shortage of testing kits in Punjab. The provincial government will be able to conduct 6,000 daily tests from tomorrow. The Chief Minister said that recommendations have been sent to the federal government for opening business centers.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar while addressing a press conference said that from tomorrow there will be 6,000 tests daily from tomorrow. There is no truth in the lack of diagnostic kits. Taking note of the complaints regarding the quarantine center, an inquiry has been ordered.
Sardar Usman Bazdar said that the lockdown has affected the working class and wage earners more. The money has been distributed to 2.8 million families through the Ehsas aid package. Recommendations have been made to the federal government to open a business.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that Rs 3,000 would be given to the needy under the Ramadan package. The Punjab government is taking all possible steps to keep the economy afloat.
