According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched an operation in the Khaisura area of North Waziristan and two years ago on reports of the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, Lance Naik Abdul Waheed and soldier Sikam Dad Jam were martyred by terrorists. Lance Naik Abdul Waheed was 29 years old and belonged to Muzaffarabad while soldier Sikam Dad was 33 years old and belonged to Abbottabad.
Security forces retaliated, killing nine terrorists and recovering a large quantity of arms and ammunition.
Last week, unidentified terrorists attacked a security check post in Miranshah area of North Waziristan, killing one soldier and injuring three others, while five terrorists were killed in retaliation.
According to ISPR, Shaheed Hawaldar Akbar Hussain belonged to Bagh district of Dhir Kot area of Azad Kashmir. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
