The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with thunderstorms and thunderstorms in various parts of the country. The rainfall is likely to continue till Monday.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be more rains in other parts of the country including Punjab from Saturday 18 April to Monday 20 April. Western winds will remain in the upper reaches until Monday.
According to the Met Office, there may be thunderstorms in some places, while in other parts of the country the weather will be dry.
On Sunday, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, high winds and thunderstorms are likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the region of Potohar, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Islamabad.
During the past 24 hours, the weather was dry and partly cloudy in most parts of the country, however, thunderstorms rained in Balochistan, Upper Sindh, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir districts.
The maximum temperature recorded on the previous day: Shaheed Benazir Abad 43 and Chor 42 degrees Celsius was recorded.
