ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the Home Ministry to submit a written reply within a week in a case of providing 3G and 4G services for online classes in the tribal areas.
According to details, the case of provision of 3G and 4G services for online classes in the tribal areas was heard in the Islamabad High Court. Deputy Attorney General Tayyab Shah said that time is needed for paramount comments, PTA has written to the government. To clarify the policy in this regard, the Chief Justice of the High Court said that the court has already said that this is a matter of basic human rights, FATA has gone through a state of war, things will take time to return to normal.
The petitioner said that the internet services were provided in two to three days at the request of DC Bajaur. Chief Justice Athar Minallah said that the situation in Bajaur was worse due to the situation. The tail will not heal.
The Chief Justice of the High Court said that the federal government did not refuse, so whoever has the job should be allowed to do it, if the federal government has asked for time, then we should wait, the government is being given 2 weeks, not 2 weeks. Yes, the licensees may not want to go to this area, the federal government is not refusing, the Islamabad High Court adjourned the hearing of the case till May 11.
