According to the Human Rights Commission report, in 2019, Pakistan's most vulnerable group was neglected, with children suffering from malnutrition, sexual and physical abuse. Domestic violence and discrimination against women continued.
The report suggests that the government needs to take steps to protect the rights of citizens. Pakistan needs to take steps to eradicate poverty through social safety nets.
Pakistan needs to develop a people-friendly economy and the government should promote jobs by developing the productive sector.
The government will have to increase spending again on education, health and municipal services, and the government will have to value freedom of expression. According to the report, the recent global epidemic could have a negative impact on the future of human rights.
